In August 2011, the company worked with 40 young people recruited from schools across Thanet to create a participatory dance piece for Blink, a site specific performance on Margate beach in Kent. Produced by McMc Arts, the Learning and Engagement team collaborated with aerial and pyrotechnic theatre ensemble Pan Optikum, innovative soundscape artist Scanner and award winning artist Ravi Deepres to stage the event. The final performance attracted an audience of over 15,000 people.
