Groups from across Belfast with company dancers
In October 2012, the company undertook a week-long residency at The MAC, a recently opened creative arts venue in Belfast. With artistic direction provided by Wayne McGregor, the Learning and Engagement team and company dancers worked with a group of young people and adults in the creation of a participatory dance performance that took place in the gallery space.
Reflecting on the experience, some comments from participants included: "I thoroughly enjoyed the course. It was a great experience. I learnt more about dance and it gave me a lot of confidence as a dancer", "I was blown away... to have that calibre of expertise teaching you was an honour", "This was a marvellous and inspiring opportunity for our students".
