Deepstaria, a choreographic diptych performed by Company Wayne McGregor, accelerates Wayne McGregor’s trail-blazing 30 year choreographic enquiry towards a radical new frontier, harnessing the revolutionary creative potential of emerging technologies, and exploring the intersection of and relationship between the live and digital experience.
Drawing on the latest AI, acoustic research and spatial computing, Deepstaria is a shapeshifting work in constant transformative dialogue with itself: a choreographic evolution that co-exists across multiple dimensions of experience.

Deepstaria will launch simultaneously as a live performance experience and in the metaverse. The work will make its world premiere headlining Montpellier Danse in June 2024, followed by an international tour.
