In October 2019, Studio Wayne McGregor hosted a residency in Tbilisi which lead to the creation of an outdoor site-specific participatory dance work, O2, that premiered at the Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre.

Featuring the work of Georgian choreographers and performed by local dancers and people of different ages, interests and cultures, O2 celebrated the people and the city of Tbilisi. The work also featured a specially commissioned score by international artist Scanner.

Studio Wayne McGregor's residency and performance of O2 were presented as part of the British Council's UK/Georgia 2019: New Horizons season, a programme celebrating the cultural connections between both countries.

Co-produced by Studio Wayne McGregor and Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre.
